Welcome to the Center Stage Guitar Academy chord library. Here you can find fretboard diagrams to all the chords taught in our program. Technically, chords are made by playing 3 or more notes at the same time. The notes of a chord can also be played separately in succession creating what is known as an arpeggio. Different chords can be played in an arranged sequence to create the foundation of a piece of music. This is often referred to as a chord progression. Often, chord fingerings are movable, meaning the same fingering can be used to play the same type of chord but with a different root note. Barre chords are good examples of movable chords.
