Guitar For Kids is a special package of lessons designed specifically for children ages 6-12 years old. The 24 lesson course teaches kids the fundamentals of music through the guitar. The course includes the very basic techniques for playing guitar including how to hold, tune, play single note melodies, and 5 basic chords. Throughout the course kids will learn familiar classics from Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Old MacDonald to Your Are My Sunshine and This Little Light Of Mine. By the end they are introduced to familiar pop tunes like Rolling In The Deep by Adele and Shake It Off by Taylor Swift.

In this lesson we are going to learn how to find the notes used in music on the neck of the guitar.  In music we use 7 letters of the alphabet to name the notes. The letters are A B C D E F and G.  We also have notes in between the letters called sharps or flats.  For example we could have a D# or a Db.  All together we have 11 notes in music.
