In this library you can find fretboard diagrams to all the scales taught here at Center Stage Guitar Academy. Scales and modes are sets of musical notes ordered in a way that creates a unique sound. Scales are fundamental in understanding music theory, building fretboard familiarity, and improvising. Included in this collection are the 7 modes of the Major Scale. These are the modes most commonly used in Western popular music. Western Popular music would include Rock, Pop, Country, Jazz, Blues, and Classical. Also included are the pentatonic major and minor scales. A pentatonic scale is a 5 note scale as opposed to the 7 note diatonic.
